Marbella attended  at the laying of the first stone of the third major hotel project.

An example of the importance of the project whose first stone was laid yesterday was the relevance of the guests who gathered at the event. Among the attendees were the Andalusian president, Susana Díaz ; the president of the Diputación de Málaga and Costa del Sol Tourism, Elías Bendodo ; the mayor of Marbella, Ángeles Muñoz; the president of the Confederation of Employers of Andalusia (CEA), Javier González de Lara ; or the Minister of Tourism, Francisco Javier Fernández. Also in attendance were the founder of Fort Partners, Nadim Ashi; the executive president of the Belgian Immobel, Marnix Galle; the president and CEO of Four Seasons, J. Allen Smith, and the president of Villa Padierna Hotels & Resorts, Ricardo Arranz.

The president of the Diputación, Elías Bendodo , assured that, with the arrival of the hotel chain in Marbella, the Costa del Sol «enters a new era by positioning itself internationally in luxury tourism with the help of this prestigious and recognized brand ».

For the president of Villa Padierna, Ricardo Arranz, the project «will be a great project, a wonder. The brand that Marbella needs, of hotels and restaurants, is Four Seasons. Marbella and Madrid need the glamor that these types of brands give. To generate employment and wealth we have to bet on quality and not quantity”, he concluded.
